After quite a bit of research and scouring Amazon, Home Depot, and Facebook Marketplace, I was able to gather the necessary items to start collecting my own rain water. Having access to over 500 gallons of water has been a game changer in regards to my indoor plumbing options, including a nice hot shower, a flush toilet, bathroom vanity, and a kitchen sink. Paired with a 110V, 5.5 GPM water pump and a propane-fired, on-demand water heater, I have enjoyed being able to wash off the days dirt and relax in the evenings. Check out how I did it below.
